NXP Introduces Affordable Cortex-M23 MCUs for IoT and Motor Control

NXP Semiconductors has recently unveiled its MCX C15 and C16 microcontrollers, which are part of the Cortex-M23 family. These new devices are specifically designed for industrial IoT and analog applications, providing a cost-effective entry point for developers. The MCX C series complements NXP's existing MCX A series, which includes advanced features like 10BASE-T1S Single Pair Ethernet.
The MCX C15 and C16 offer a seamless transition for users migrating from older LPC800, LPC1100, and Kinetis MCUs, ensuring full pin-to-pin compatibility with the newer MCX A series. These microcontrollers come equipped with essential features such as a 16-bit SAR ADC, a high-speed comparator with DAC, and FlexPWM for efficient motor and power control, alongside ample memory options including up to 64 KB of flash and 12 KB of SRAM.
