Introducing the AAEON uCOM-Q6490: A Cutting-Edge SMARC 2.1 System-on-Module

AAEON has unveiled its latest System-on-Module (SoM), the uCOM-Q6490, which adheres to the SMARC 2.1 standard. This compact module is powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 octa-core SoC, making it an ideal solution for sectors such as robotics, healthcare, industrial automation, and digital signage.

Measuring 82 × 50 mm, the uCOM-Q6490 offers impressive specifications, including support for up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 64GB of UFS storage. Its MXM 3.0 edge connector provides a variety of interfaces such as SDIO 3.0, PCIe 3.0, dual GbE, USB 3.1, and USB 2.0, along with additional support for UARTs, SPI, I2C, I2S, GPIOs, and a DisplayPort 1.4 output capable of 2K resolution at 60Hz. This module is particularly suited for integration with LiDAR sensors, cameras, robotic controllers, and smart displays.
