XIAO SAMD21 Plus and RP2350 Plus USB-C Boards Enhanced with Extra GPIOs and Battery Management

Seeed Studio has unveiled upgrades to its XIAO Plus Series, originally launched in 2025. The new XIAO SAMD21 Plus and XIAO RP2350 Plus USB-C boards now feature additional GPIO pins and integrated lithium-ion battery management, while maintaining the same compact form factor as their predecessors.

The XIAO SAMD21 Plus is powered by the Microchip SAMD21G18 Arm Cortex-M0+ microcontroller, operating at speeds up to 48MHz. It offers 256KB of Flash memory and 32KB of SRAM, along with a USB Type-C port for both power and programming. Notably, the board includes two 7-pin headers with 11 analog inputs, 11 digital I/Os, and various communication interfaces such as SPI, UART, and I2C.

With a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the XIAO SAMD21 Plus is designed for robust applications. The integration of battery management capabilities enhances its versatility, making it a suitable choice for a wide range of projects.
