Revolutionary 8-Channel Oscilloscope Unveiled by Tektronix

Tektronix has unveiled its latest innovation in the field of oscilloscopes with the launch of the 7 Series DPO (Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope). The DPO718AX model stands out as the first oscilloscope in the world to offer eight channels, each capable of delivering an impressive 25 GHz analog bandwidth and sampling rates of up to 125 GS/s. This cutting-edge device is tailored for applications requiring high-speed serial compliance testing, extensive RF analysis, and research in high-energy physics.
At the heart of the DPO718AX is a powerful 12-core AMD EPYC Embedded 3351 processor, complemented by 96 GB of RAM and 1.6 TB of storage. The oscilloscope is equipped with an NVIDIA T1000 GPU and features a 15.6-inch touchscreen display, resembling a high-performance PC running either Linux or Windows 10 LTSC. Additionally, it boasts a 10 Gbps SFP+ port utilizing TekHSI technology, which significantly enhances the transfer of large waveform datasets to external PCs, achieving throughput rates up to 11 times higher than traditional methods.
