The best design on paper can still fail its first real test — which is exactly why a prototyping stage exists: we build it, test it, observe where the design actually breaks, and refine it, before committing the time and money of a full production run to a design that's never been proven.

• Testing under conditions close to actual operating environments, to surface mechanical or software weaknesses early.
• Fast, iterative refinement cycles: each prototype version builds on the previous one's findings instead of starting the design over from scratch.
• Full engineering documentation of every change, so the move into volume production is an organized step, not a gamble.
