Introducing YuzukiNeko: A New Linux-Compatible RISC-V SBC

YuzukiHD has unveiled its latest open-source hardware project, the YuzukiNeko, a single-board computer (SBC) designed to operate with Linux. This innovative board is built around the Allwinner F101 RISC-V system-on-chip (SoC), which boasts a single core running at 1.008 GHz and is available with either 8MB or 16MB of PSRAM.
The YuzukiNeko's compact design mirrors that of the Raspberry Pi Pico, making it an attractive option for developers seeking a versatile platform. It supports multiple display interfaces, including MIPI DSI and 24-bit RGB, and features essential components such as an SPI NOR flash, a microSD card slot for additional storage, and a USB-C port for data and power connectivity. The board also includes two 20-pin GPIO headers, providing ample expansion opportunities for various projects.
With its robust specifications and open-source nature, the YuzukiNeko is poised to become a valuable tool for engineers and hobbyists alike, paving the way for innovative applications in embedded systems.
