Introducing the Petoi Quaddle: A Mini Robot Dog for AI Exploration

Explore Robotics with the Petoi Quaddle

The Petoi Quaddle is an innovative mini robot dog that offers a unique opportunity for enthusiasts and learners to delve into the world of physical AI. This compact robot is equipped with four servos that control its legs, making it capable of walking, spinning, and even responding to touch. It is powered by an ESP32-S3 motion core, providing both servo control and wireless connectivity, with an optional AI core for voice command functionality.

Available in three different models—Builder, Buddy, and Scout—the Petoi Quaddle caters to various user requirements. Additionally, it supports a Raspberry Pi Zero, which can be mounted in place of the AI core for those seeking to expand its capabilities. The robot operates on OpenCat open-source firmware, similar to the Petoi Bittle robot dog introduced in 2020, and allows programming through a visual IDE, making it accessible for users of all skill levels.
