Introducing the MitySOM-AM62x/A/P: Advanced SoMs for Industrial Applications

Critical Link has launched the MitySOM-AM62x/A/P series, a new line of system-on-modules (SoMs) based on Texas Instruments' Sitara AM62 processors. These modules are specifically engineered for embedded Linux systems, industrial automation, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and other embedded applications.

The MitySOM-AM62 family includes three variants: the general-purpose MitySOM-AM62, the AI-centric MitySOM-AM62A, and the multimedia-focused MitySOM-AM62P. Each module is equipped with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor operating at 1.4 GHz, complemented by a 400 MHz Cortex-M4F microcontroller and dual programmable real-time units (PRUs). The AM62A variant enhances capabilities with a C7x DSP and image signal processor, while the AM62P variant boasts a powerful 3D GPU.
