Enhanced XIAO SAMD21 Plus and RP2040 Plus USB-C Boards Introduced

Upgraded Features of XIAO Plus Series

Seeed Studio has recently expanded its XIAO Plus Series, initially launched in 2025, by introducing the XIAO SAMD21 Plus and XIAO RP2040 Plus USB-C boards. These new models bring enhanced functionality with the addition of several GPIO pins and integrated Li-ion battery management, while maintaining the original form factor of their predecessors from 2020 and 2021.

The XIAO SAMD21 Plus is powered by the Microchip SAMD21G18 Arm Cortex-M0+ microcontroller, operating at speeds up to 48MHz. It features a single USB Type-C port for both power and programming, along with multiple expansion options, including analog inputs and digital I/Os. With a compact design of 23.5×17.5 mm and a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, this board is designed for a variety of applications.
