Amlogic Introduces A123X and C305X2 SoCs for Industrial AIoT Applications

Amlogic has recently announced its latest System-on-Chips (SoCs), the A123X and C305X2, which are tailored for industrial applications and low-power Edge AI and IoT devices. These new processors, featuring the Arm Cortex-A320 architecture, are suitable for a variety of applications including robotics, dashcams, IP cameras, and video conferencing systems.

The A123X is equipped with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A320 processor, while the C305X2 features a dual-core configuration. Although detailed specifications are yet to be fully disclosed, Amlogic claims these SoCs will support advanced functionalities such as 4K video encoding and decoding, alongside AI capabilities for object detection and tracking. This positions Amlogic as a pioneer in the market, being the first to introduce Cortex-A320 SoCs.
