Quectel Launches Advanced IoT Modules with Android 16 Support

Quectel has announced the release of its latest smart modules, the SH602FA and SE505FE, which are set to revolutionize the capabilities of 4G LTE and 5G IoT devices by integrating Android 16. These modules are equipped with powerful octa-core MediaTek processors, enabling robust cellular connectivity and multimedia functionalities for a variety of applications including smart displays, point-of-sale systems, industrial handhelds, and robotics.

The SH602FA module, optimized for high performance, utilizes the MediaTek MT8786 processor, while the SE505FE module caters to entry-level applications with its MediaTek MT8863T SoC. Both modules come in various regional configurations, including a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-only variant. Notably, the SE505FE stands out with its advanced features, including support for 5G connectivity with impressive download speeds, high refresh rate displays, and advanced camera capabilities.
