Introducing TickrCast

Layered Ventures LLC has recently launched TickrCast, an innovative HUB75 LED ticker display that leverages the capabilities of the ESP32-S3 microcontroller. This product is tailored for displaying a variety of real-time data, including esports statistics, sports scores, social media insights, and flight information, all through a daisy-chained configuration of panels.

Unlike traditional LED matrix development boards, TickrCast is a fully integrated consumer product. It features a custom controller board, plug-and-play panels, power connectors, and a companion mobile application. The system begins with two panels but can be expanded to accommodate ten or more, catering to diverse user needs. Connectivity is facilitated via Wi-Fi, while Bluetooth LE is utilized for initial setup. At launch, users can access over 30 plugins without any subscription fees, enhancing the display's functionality.

Security is also a priority, with support for signed over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates and hardware flash encryption to protect user data. The TickrCast promises to be a robust solution for anyone looking to visualize data dynamically.
