Introducing the Banana Pi BPI-AI2N: A Cutting-Edge SoM for Vision AI

The Banana Pi BPI-AI2N has been unveiled as a powerful system-on-module (SoM) that leverages the capabilities of the Renesas RZ/V2N quad-core Cortex-A55 microprocessor. This innovative module is equipped with a DRP-AI3 accelerator, delivering up to 15 TOPS for handling demanding Vision AI workloads. With 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 32GB eMMC flash storage, and additional 64MB SPI flash, it offers robust performance for various applications.
In addition to the SoM, Banana Pi provides a carrier board inspired by the Jetson Nano, which includes a MIPI DSI connector, dual MIPI CSI connectors, and multiple connectivity options such as two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB 3.0 ports. This comprehensive setup also features an M.2 socket for NVMe SSDs and a 40-pin GPIO header, making it an ideal choice for developers looking to create advanced Vision AI solutions.
