Introducing ARK Just A Pi: A Compact NDAA-Compliant Carrier Board for Drones and Robots

ARK Electronics has unveiled the ARK Just A Pi, a diminutive carrier board that complies with NDAA regulations, designed for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5. This innovative board is ideal for space-limited embedded applications such as drones and robots, measuring approximately the same size as the Compute Module itself.
The ARK Just A Pi offers a plethora of features including a built-in 100 Mbps Ethernet switch with dual JST-GH Ethernet ports, a micro HDMI port, and two MIPI CSI camera connectors. Additionally, it is equipped with a microSD card slot, a PCIe FFC connector, and a USB 3.0 Type-C dual role connector. It also includes various small connectors for UART, SPI, PWM, GPIO, and fan control, along with a power connector for ARK's PAB power modules.
Notably, while it fully supports the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5, it has limited compatibility with the Compute Module 4, lacking support for certain interfaces. This compact solution is set to enhance the capabilities of embedded systems in various applications.
