GPIBee Adapter Introduces Ethernet Support but Remains Closed-Source

The GPIBee, a new USB-to-GPIB adapter, has been introduced with enhanced features including Ethernet support via Power over Ethernet (PoE). This device, which is a successor to the UsbGpib V3, aims to cater to users of legacy GPIB/IEEE-488 instruments while integrating modern connectivity options.
However, a notable change in this iteration is its transition to closed-source hardware, contrasting with its predecessors, which were open-source. The GPIBee retains a USB 2.0 Type-C interface and supports various communication protocols, including USB Test and Measurement Class (USBTMC) and VXI-11 over USB-Ethernet.
