ArduinoCore-Zephyr 1.0.0 Introduces Support for VENTUNO Q and Updates to Zephyr 4.4.1

Arduino has unveiled the latest version of ArduinoCore-Zephyr, version 1.0.0, which brings exciting new features and hardware support. Among the highlights is the compatibility with the VENTUNO Q single-board computer (SBC), which is powered by the STM32H5F5 real-time microcontroller. This update also includes enhancements to the Zephyr RTOS, now at version 4.4.1, which incorporates upstream improvements, security patches, and expanded driver support.

In addition to these updates, the new release adds support for the Nicla Vision camera, enabling users to capture and process image data seamlessly through the Zephyr core. This version builds on the previous stable release, 0.90.0, which was introduced in July 2026, marking a significant step forward in Arduino's transition from Arm Mbed to Zephyr RTOS.
